“Thank you for organising our wonderful trip. It really was fantastic. Highlights are VERY hard, but… Jaguars (of course), plus giant anteater, armadillos and even a glimpse of a maned wolf that even got the guide excited! The Iguazu Falls were stunning, as was the bird park. Ecuador/Galapagos
“Our trip was amazing. We were so impressed with how organised everything was, it really was ridiculously easy for us. At every point there was someone waiting who knew exactly where we should be going, what we needed etc.
I know that most people go to the Amazon before Galapagos, which I understand, but for us I preferred the order in which we did it. I think I would have been wishing the time away waiting to head to Galapagos, and our kids thought that the wildlife experience was just as good. On that point, we were really lucky. We finished Galapagos snorkeling with hammerheads, Galapagos and white tip reef sharks. We also got to swim with penguins, sea lions, turtles and so many fish. We are generally spoiled at home in terms of snorkeling/diving but this was incredible. At Napo, in the Amazon, we got to see the giant river otters hunting, carrying their young and generally messing around which was incredible. So at the risk of waffling on, our wildlife encounters were incredible and not just for the twitchers in the family.
The respective accommodations were excellent. We were very lucky on our boat that we were with a lovely family. Given that it was so small, it would have been a very different experience if they weren't so lovely. The guides we had were all very knowledgeable and friendly.

Cuba
“We had a fabulous holiday and feel as if we immersed ourselves in Cuba. There were all sorts of highlights, from snorkelling in the Bay of Pigs, to hiking to Fidel's hideaway in the Sierra Maestra, to spending a morning visiting Hemingway's haunts by 1950s open-topped American car. We would like to make special mention of your Cuban partners who organised our accommodation, transport and social agenda and most notably, their driver/guide, who was exceptional. He looked after us for 13 nights with immaculate driving - no mean feat on the roads and with the fuel shortage - humour, warmth and consideration. He introduced us to local customs, food and experiences beyond our expectations, and gave us confidence in an unfamiliar environment. All the other guides we met along the way were also well-informed, friendly and helped to make our Cuban adventure very special.” - JF&PW travelled in February 2024

“We had a great trip and saw a lot of interesting wildlife and enjoyed some unusual experiences. We only scratched the surface of Costa Rica. All the places we stayed were great, especially Amor Arenal and Arenas del Mar. “What a holiday!! I had a marvellous time in Ecuador. The itinerary you put together met all my expectations and more.
The Napo valley was very special, I wish I had had more time there. The three guides Pedro, Abel and Roger who were with me the whole time were brilliant. They went out of their way to ensure I was able to observe and experience the magnificence of the national park. Their knowledge and expertise is second to none.
It’s not just the things you do and the places you visit that make a holiday but the people you meet along the way. Marco Toscano, my guide for most of the holiday, was exemplary. One of the best guides (if not the best) I have ever had and a great companion.” - RH travelled in September 2023
Costa Rica
“Thank you so so much for all of your help, it was a really special trip and I’m already missing Costa Rica. All our hotels and transfers were perfect and your itinerary suited us so well. Having the transfers all sorted made it so easy for us and I’m so grateful that our trip was planned so well and allowed us to see everything we wanted to.
Our highlights were definitely Mawamba Lodge (Tortuguero), as their staff were just brilliant and the boat trip, the town and the Caribbean Coast was beautiful. For us Arenal and La Fortuna was incredible. The waterfall was amazing (very refreshing!) and the location of the hotel, and being able to wake up and see the Volcano from the balcony was unbelievable. Of course all of our locations were outstanding and we enjoyed every single place we visited.
Everything was so easy and my only downside was that it went so quickly and I wish we had been able to spend longer there. Thank you again for all of your help, we had the best time and I have fallen in love with Costa Rica!” - BS travelled in March 2024

“We had a really good holiday and the places were all fascinating. Congratulations on your reservations and bookings. The organisation, transfers and meeting at all of the airports was perfect and we went at the right time, after carnival. We were frequently told that we were lucky there were so few people around as previously it had been very busy.
People spoke about being careful, but clearly if you do not display expensive jewellery or watches, you are just as safe as any other major city or tourist place.

“We had a fabulous trip. The hotels were all really good, and perhaps we should have built in more time to enjoy some of them.
The main highlights for me (having visited Iguassu before) were the trip in the Salta area which was well organised, the guide excellent, and the scenery around Salta really magnificent; and the final stay at Pousada Alcobaca in Petropolis. I should also mention the wine tour in Mendoza - the seven-course meal with wine pairings an unexpected surprise.

Argentina/Antarctica
“We're home and had a brilliant trip. We loved Buenos Aires, the cruise to Antarctica with Aurora Expeditions was fantastic and a couple of nights on an estancia in the Pampas was the perfect way to end before flying home. We were very lucky with the weather and over the moon with all elements of the cruise. There were 120 passengers on board the ship which was a very good number, and it was a nice mix of nationalities. The ship, Greg Mortimer, was very comfortable, the food was very good, and the expedition team and all the staff on board were excellent. The kayaking was great and camping on shore for a night was a unique experience. We have 1000's of photos and lots of wonderful memories. “We had a really excellent holiday and want to thank you very much for all your hard work, especially with the inevitable hitches and glitches. I also finished reading the Brian Keenan and John McCarthy book you sent me. It was wonderful and it's such a great and unique idea to send a book to your clients. The ground services were all super with good communication, punctual and friendly. The Australis cruise lived up to expectations and the cabin, food, service, excursions etc. were superb. El Chalten was my favourite part of the trip. I loved the relaxed, laid back vibe, we had perfect walking weather and I loved being able to hike straight out the door, no park fees or transport needed.
