Inspiration
Latin America offers some of the best and most varied riding in the world. Many countries maintain strong cowboy traditions and horses are still central to their way of life. For dedicated riding trips, whether sleeping in comfortable beds or camping under the stars, the best options are to be found in the Andes (Peru, Ecuador or Colombia), Patagonia (Chile or Argentina), the Pantanal (Brazil) and Uruguay. For more casual riding, nearly all our favourite estancias, fazendas and haciendas have horses available for daily outings.
Several members of staff are keen riders and between us we have ridden all over the continent so if you want sensible advice just get in touch.
Best time
November to early April in Patagonia, most of the year in Ecuador, October to April in Uruguay and April to November in Peru.
