Description

A small luxury lodge set in a 500 acre private reserve in the cloud forest, just under two hours from San José, with a restaurant and bar overlooking the river and a Spa.

Activities

Guided walks, riding, kayaking, river-rafting, bird-watching, yoga, visits to the local village and canopy zip-lining can all be organised through the lodge. There is also a full service Spa.

Accommodation

16 spacious bungalows are set throughout the grounds and all have a private terrace and outside hot tub. There are also 4 two bedroom villas (slightly further from the main lodge) with a full kitchen and communal sitting room, that are perfect for families.

Our comments

With relatively easy access from San José, this is a good option for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
