Description
On the edge of the town, this colonial hotel is set in spacious grounds and has the most wonderful views over Lago de Suchitlán and to the mountains of the north. It is full of character with many antiques and local artefacts, a bar, restaurant and outdoor pool.
Accommodation
There are 12 spacious rooms, some are particularly large with a balcony overlooking the lake and the others are set around a colonial courtyard.
Our comments
It has a rustic feel and not much English is spoken but staff are eager to help. It is worth visiting for the view even if you do not stay here and the restaurant is popular for lunch. Pupusas are the speciality, a corn pancake filled with melted cheese, beans and pork.
