A luxury beach hotel on the palm-fringed white sand beaches of Punta Maroma, about 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen, Chablé Maroma is described as a slice of the Yucatan mixed with an upscale beach resort. There is a bar, two restaurants serving contemporary Mexican cuisine and seafood, a lovely outdoor swimming pool and a spa, offering wonderful Mexican holistic treatments.

Spread throughout the jungle, the villas are contemporary in style with a blend of Mexican and modern textiles, and each has a private plunge pool, indoor and outdoor shower and private terrace.

Our comments

Chablé's focus is on health and wellness - there are no golf carts here and everything is done on foot, so it's probably not the best option for people with walking difficulties.

Hotel Chable Maroma was excellent. Food, staff, accommodation and facilities were excellent. High standard throughout. It's a bit off the beaten track so I would recommend to other travellers to explore Playa Del Carmen, Puerto Morellos and Moyul as touring options. Tulum was very busy so would recommend going early. Overall, I would recommend this hotel - SJ (June 2021)
