Description
A relaxed hotel 40km north of Chetumal, or 210km south of Tulum, on the Bacalar lagoon. The grounds are spacious, with leafy gardens. There is an outdoor pool, spa, and waterfront restaurant.
Activities
The hotel can arrange excursions to local sites of interest, such as the Bacalar Fort, Cenote Azul, and the Kohunlich archeological site. There are kayaks (free for guests) for exploring the lagoon.
Accommodation
The 33 rustic bungalows are large with plenty of space. Some are in the gardens, while others face out onto the lagoon.
