Description

An attractive boutique hotel, just outside the town, which has a really personal atmosphere - it was built as the original owner's private house before being turned into a hotel. There is a restaurant in a separate building which has an excellent reputation, both for its food and extensive wine selection. There are tables outside for dining right by the river.

Activities

Visit coffee plantations, go walking, birdwatching, rafting or just potter round the town.

Accommodation

All six rooms have been beautifully furnished with real attention to detail, with artwork from Panama. They have large bathrooms and a high quality finish. There are comfortable sitting areas and an outside deck overlooking pretty gardens.

Our comments

This used to be the Palo Alto hotel. It is a lovely place to stay, very calm and peaceful but handy for the town.
