Refurbished in 2017 Silver Cloud is a very spacious and comfortable ice strengthened ship. She has a total of seven decks with cabins on four of them, plenty of open deck space, five restaurants, a champagne bar, two observation lounges, a lecture theatre, a library, hot tub and heated swimming pool, a fitness centre, spa and beauty salon.

Activities

A team of up to 19 qualified specialists lead shore excursions, run workshops and give lectures. The ship has one of the highest specialist to guest ratios in the Antarctic. Complimentary parkas are included.

Accommodation

There are 8 cabin categories across 4 accommodation decks and most have a private veranda. All cabins have a butler service, pillow menu, personalised mini bar, designer toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, walk-in wardrobes, on-demand TV and unlimited Wi-Fi.

Deluxe Veranda Suite

There are 22 Deluxe Veranda Suites, located on Decks 5 and 6, and all centrally-located in the ship. Each Suite (27 square metres) has a teak veranda with floor to ceiling glass doors, sitting area and bathroom with shower.

Grand Suite

There are 2 Grand Suites in the bow on deck 7, which can be configured as one bedroom (95 square metres) or two bedrooms (122 square metres) by adjoining a Veranda Suite. Each has a living area with sitting room and a separate dining room, two teak verandas with floor to ceiling glass doors, full sized bath tub and separate shower and Espresso machine.

Medallion Suite

The 3 Medallion Suites (41 square metres) are mid-ship on Decks 5, 6 and 7. They can each accommodate 3 guests. They have a teak veranda with floor to ceiling glass doors, a living room (with convertible sofa for the third guest), sitting area, separate dining area and bathroom with shower.

Owner's Suite

There is 1 Owner's Suite, mid-ship on Deck 7, which can be configured as one bedroom (55 square metres) or two bedrooms (77 square metres) by adjoining a Vista Suite. It has a living area with sitting room and separate dining room, a large teak veranda with floor to ceiling glass doors, full sized bath tub and separate shower, and Espresso machine.

Royal Suite

The 2 Royal Suites are in the bow, on Deck 6. They can be configured as one bedroom (69 square metres) or two bedrooms (96 square metres) by adjoining a Veranda Suite. Each has a living area with sitting room and a separate dining room, a large teak veranda with floor to ceiling glass doors, full sized bath tub with separate shower, and an Espresso machine.

Silver Suite

There are 12 Silver Suites (50 square metres), located mid-ship on Decks 6 and 7. They can each accommodate 3 guests. They have a teak veranda with floor to ceiling glass doors, a living room (with convertible sofa for the third guest), sitting area, separate dining area and bathroom with shower.

Veranda Suite

The 56 Veranda Suites (27 square metres) are split over Decks 5, 6 and 7. Some can accommodate up to 3 guests. Each has a teak veranda with floor to ceiling glass doors, sitting area, and bathroom with shower (some have a bath tub/shower combination).

Vista Suite

There are 24 Vista Suites, located on Deck 4. Each has a large picture window with panoramic ocean views, a sitting area and bathroom with shower (22 square metres).
