Description

An old estancia on the edge of the village, now converted into a comfortable hosteria with a warm, friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff and a pleasant garden. The food is good and they do an excellent lamb barbeque (asado) in the building at the top of the garden, ‘El Quincho’.

Kau Yatun is a lovely hotel. A little bit out of town but perfectly fine. The restaurant onsite is good especially if you are keen to try guanaco which they serve up in a variety of ways. The breakfast was outstanding. We had one of the larger ground floor rooms, some people got small upper level ones and were not so happy. The plumbing is an issue for the hotel, but all forgiveable and overall we were very happy here. - UM (February 2024)
