Barreirinhas (Lencois Maranhenses and the colonial ports, Brazil)

Description

A charming property just outside Barreirinhas, a small village near to the dunes of the Lençois Maranhenses. There is a large pool (with a sandy bottom!), hammock area, games room, a bar and good restaurant.

Activities

Dune visits. The resort has river frontage to the Rio Preguiças, and there are kayaks available for guests' use.

Accommodation

Rooms are in bungalows spread through the extensive grounds and are rustic in style. Each has a veranda and hammock, several (noisy) ceiling fans, and air conditioning.

Our comments

The most comfortable option in Barreirinhas.
