Description

A comfortable hotel, 5 minutes by road from the historical centre of Tiradentes. It has a small village feel and a maze of pathways lead through tropical gardens to the rooms and swimming pools. There is a workshop where furniture and sculptures are made and a couple of showrooms where they are sold.

Activities

Enjoy the facilities of the hotel which include a small outdoor pool and also a lovely large indoor pool with a sauna and bar. Visit the town and at the weekends you can take the old steam train that still runs the 13km between Tiradentes and São João del Rei along a narrow 76cm gauge that has been in operation since 1881. The town is beautifully restored, with excellent restaurants, fine shops (particularly for handicrafts and the local pewter), and several churches with excellent examples of the style known as Brazilian Baroque.

There are various different room types; standard rooms, family rooms and suites, all with private facilities and the better rooms also have a Jacuzzi.

Our comments

The suites are beautiful, they are large and spacious, tastefully furnished and have a Jacuzzi bath. The showrooms do attract visitors that are not guests of the hotel.
