Description

The casa is a ten minute walk into Paraty but has a wonderful position on the banks of the River Jabaquara and dense forest to the side. The beautiful colonial property has a terrace stretching along the length of the house with a good supply of hanging hammocks.

Activities

There are plenty of water based activities to organise including swimming, snorkelling, surfing, diving and kayaking. There is a Brazilian cooking school nearby, trekking, riding and biking.

Accommodation

There are three double rooms in the main house all with en-suite bathrooms. There is a further bedroom in the guest house with a separate sofa bed in the sitting room. Sleeps up to ten people.

Our comments

A maid and a local cook are at the casa from 0800 to 1700 daily with an english speaking concierge available for 4 hours per day. Babysitters and additional maids can be arranged locally at extra cost.
