Description

This small hotel, in a prime position opposite Arpoador beach and nestled between the famous Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, is separated from the sand by only the beach promenade. The rooftop has a small pool and pool bar with a spectacular view of Ipanema and Leblon beaches, with Dois Irmãos mountain in the background. The restaurant is on the ground floor and has direct access to the beach.

Accommodation

The 50 rooms have sleek yet simple décor and the white walls and linens are offset with splashes of bright colour and bespoke wooden furniture. The rooms are distributed over five floors, they all have a queen size double bed or twin beds, and are equipped with a minibar with coffee maker, a safe, and air conditioning.

The Hotel Arpoador was excellent – amazing position and extremely helpful staff who helped with restaurant reservations etc. It is definitely worth paying for a sea view room as the view is SO amazing. The café at the hotel was good if not amazing.  - VA (October 2023)
