Description

Comfortable resort hotel on the edge of the river with a man-made beach. The resort has its own airstrip (the hotel is owned by an airline) so access from the interior is good. They have a boat for excursions on the river and large gardens.

Boat trips on the Essequibo, relax by the river (swimming possible)

Accommodation

17 rooms. 10 superior rooms in the block furthest from the main areas, 2 simple rooms in their own block and 5 rooms in the main house (4 share 2 bathrooms, 1 is a honeymoon suite with ensuite bathroom).

Our comments

Slightly lacking in character but very comfortable and a good place to relax after a busy trip in the interior.
